The practice does not bill health insurance, Medicare, or MassHealth. Falmouth DPC works well with PPO plans and Medicare, which offer flexibility for out-of-network referrals and specialist care. HMO plans are not compatible because they require an in-network primary care physician.

The membership covers a wide range of in-office services at no additional cost. These include EKGs, point-of-care testing, cryotherapy for warts and skin tags, pap tests, pregnancy tests, urinalysis, COVID and flu and RSV testing, eye exams for corneal abrasion, tick and earwax removal, and wound care including suturing and skin glue.

The practice does not currently offer vaccines or in-office blood draws. Vaccines are available at local pharmacies. Lab work can be completed at nearby facilities, and Dr. Cotti places the orders for you.

Dr. Cotti places orders for imaging, and you complete the study at a local facility. For specialist referrals, he coordinates directly with the appropriate providers. PPO and Medicare patients typically have flexibility to see out-of-network specialists. The practice works to find the most cost-effective option for each patient.
