About
At Essential Pediatrics, two founding physicians built Massachusetts' first full-service, membership-based pediatric practice from the ground up in Newton. Dr. Brenda Anders Pring and Dr. Christina Nordt designed the practice around one conviction: knowing a child completely changes the quality of care they receive. The practice serves families across Greater Boston from its Newton location.
Each physician caps her panel at 300 children. That limit keeps appointments unhurried and ensures the same doctor sees every child, from newborn through college age. Families reach their physician directly by call or text, including after hours, seven days a week. When a child needs a specialist, the team personally coordinates referrals and follows up. Dr. Nordt brings specialty training in adolescent medicine, covering menstrual disorders, eating disorders, reproductive health, and mental health for preteens and teens. Dr. Pring leads the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and teaches at Harvard Medical School. Membership travels with the family, so telemedicine support extends to vacations and college out of state.
