Steven Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. He completed internship and residency at the University of Virginia. He served as Chief Resident during his final residency year. His father, an orthopedic surgeon, first inspired his path into medicine.
Dr. Johnson joined Family Practice Associates of Southern Hills in 1997. He served Brentwood East Family Medicine as Medical Director from 2012 to 2022. His leadership roles included Chief of Family Medicine at Tristar Southern Hills. He also served on the Tristar Southern Hills Executive Board. He lives in Brentwood with his wife, Trudy, and enjoys mountain biking and hiking.
