Yes, the practice conducts visits in the office, by video conference, or by telephone. Patients can choose the format that works best for their needs and schedule.
The practice focuses exclusively on endocrinology. The physicians treat all types of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, LADA, MODY, and Type 3C, along with thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease, adrenal conditions, pituitary disease, PCOS, obesity, insulin resistance, and parathyroid disorders. The practice does not provide primary care, and patients should maintain a relationship with a primary care physician.
Each physician limits their panel to approximately 300 patients. That limit allows the doctors to spend meaningful time with each patient and remain accessible between appointments.
No referrals are required to become a patient at Endocrine Direct Care Physicians. Members can schedule directly without going through a primary care referral process. That said, the practice recommends all patients also maintain a relationship with a primary care physician, since endocrinology here does not replace general primary care.
