Edgefield Internal Medicine uses a three-tier monthly membership fee based on age. Adults ages 18 to 39 pay $50 per month. Adults ages 40 to 55 pay $60 per month. Adults 56 and older pay $70 per month. The membership covers unlimited physician visits, in-office diagnostics, minor procedures, and 24/7 direct access to Dr. Oster. No copays or added visit fees apply.

The membership covers unlimited physician visits with no copays, comprehensive history and physical exams, in-office diagnostics including EKG, strep test, flu test, urinalysis, pregnancy test, and glucose testing. It also includes minor procedures such as laceration repair, skin biopsies, joint injections, and IV fluids when warranted. Members receive 24/7 telephone, text, and email access directly to Dr. Oster, telemedicine visits, and house calls when necessary.

Edgefield Internal Medicine does not accept insurance or Medicare for membership fees. Patients pay Dr. Oster directly each month. However, members with insurance can still use it for outside services such as specialist referrals, lab work, imaging, and hospital stays, just as they would with any other provider.

Yes. While the practice does not bill insurance for membership fees, your existing insurance still covers outside expenses. Lab work ordered outside the office, imaging studies, specialist referrals, and hospital stays all run through your insurance as normal. The practice also maintains referral resources for patients interested in health sharing plans to help cover those external costs.

Prospective patients can book a free meet-the-doctor appointment before joining. This visit gives you the opportunity to meet Dr. Oster and ask questions. To enroll, you complete a patient member agreement, which you can download, fill out, and bring to the office or submit by email in advance.
