Coastal Direct MD

Adult memberships cost $150 per month. Children enrolled as part of a family membership pay $50 per month. Children enrolling outside a family membership pay $75 per month. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $200 for individuals or families. The membership is an annual contract, and members can cancel with 30 days of written notice.

The membership covers unlimited office visits with no copays or hidden fees. Members get same-day or next-day appointments, direct communication with Dr. Weaver by phone, text, email, or video, and after-hours coverage on evenings and weekends. The practice also provides discounted labs, medications, and radiology for members. Costs of medications, imaging, and some procedures fall outside the membership fee.

Coastal Direct MD does not accept insurance for membership fees. The practice operates outside the insurance system, and members pay Dr. Weaver directly. Members can still carry a separate insurance policy for hospitalizations or specialty care. The practice does accept Medicare patients, though Medicare does not cover the membership cost.

Yes. Dr. Weaver offers virtual visits by phone, video, text, or email. House calls are also available when appropriate, at an additional charge. After-hours and weekend coverage is available via phone or electronic devices.

Coastal Direct MD uses the Atlas MD platform for enrollment. Prospective patients can join online or contact the practice directly. Dr. Weaver also welcomes obligation-free in-person or phone conversations for anyone who wants to learn more before committing.

Yes. The practice offers an employer benefit program. Dr. Weaver keeps his panel to around 500 patients. That limit allows him to spend meaningful time with each patient and offer same-day access without the rushed appointments common in larger practices.

The practice does not currently provide routine vaccinations for young children. Dr. Weaver will coordinate with other providers to arrange those services for your child.

Dr. Weaver refers patients to specialists when their needs exceed what the practice handles in-house. He selects referrals based on quality, directing patients to the best specialists available for their condition. The practice also plans to offer e-consults through Rubicon MD at no additional charge to members.
