About
At Central Illinois Direct Care, a husband-and-wife physician team brings decades of combined medical experience to Lincoln, Illinois. Dr. Dru D. Hauter founded the practice after his son Ben, then a medical student at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, introduced him to the Direct Primary Care model. Dr. Marcia K. Hauter joined six months later in July 2020. The two now practice side by side again, as they did early in their careers.
The practice covers primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, preventive care, occupational medicine, wound care, and DOT physicals. Members pay $75 per month with no co-pays, deductibles, or hidden charges. The practice dispenses medications at wholesale prices and offers discounted rates on labs and imaging. Patients reach their doctor by phone, secure text, email, or video chat. Same-day and next-day appointments keep care accessible. Business memberships for five or more employees are available at $50 per employee per month.
