Monthly fees depend on the child's age. Children under 2 years old pay $130 per month. Children ages 2 to 5 pay $90 per month. Children ages 6 to 18 pay $60 per month. Families pay a maximum of $275 per month regardless of how many children enroll. A one-time enrollment fee of $125 per family applies at the start of membership.

Membership covers all well-child visits, unlimited sick visits, same-day and next-day appointments, school and sports physicals, in-office basic tests, in-office medication dispensing, and direct physician access day or night. It also includes in-home newborn visits and unlimited phone, text, email, and video consultations with Dr. Shoaf.

BridgeWay Pediatrics does not participate in any insurance plan or Medicaid. The practice works directly with families through membership. However, the practice works with Vaxcare to bill most private insurances for vaccines, and it partners with local labs and imaging services to keep out-of-pocket costs low for outside services.

Yes. BridgeWay Pediatrics covers a wide range of pediatric services, but hospital stays, ER visits, and subspecialist referrals fall outside the membership. The practice recommends that members carry health insurance, such as a high-deductible plan paired with a Health Savings Account, to cover those situations.

Yes. Members of Samaritan Ministries may share BridgeWay DPC membership fees up to $100 per month as part of a shareable need, provided a shareable condition receives a diagnosis while the family holds active membership. Families should review Samaritan Ministries guidelines for full details.

Yes. Dr. Shoaf offers video, phone, and text consultations as part of membership. Many questions and concerns do not require an office visit, and Dr. Shoaf handles them directly and promptly.

Yes. Dr. Shoaf makes in-home visits for all newborns within 15 miles of the office. She may also offer same-day home visits for select sick visits. Families living beyond 15 miles should contact the practice to discuss options.
