Breakthrough Direct Care

Breakthrough Direct Care charges $200 per month for children ages 0 to 2 and $150 per month for children ages 2 and older. Families pay a one-time $150 enrollment fee. A family maximum of $300 per month covers up to four children. The membership includes all office visits, telehealth, texts, calls, and follow-ups. Small materials fees may apply for certain procedures.

Breakthrough Direct Care does not bill or accept insurance for membership fees. Patients pay a flat monthly fee instead. The practice recommends keeping insurance for serious or complex conditions, but most routine pediatric care falls within the membership. HSA and FSA funds work with the membership through special billing arrangements.

Yes. Every member family receives a dedicated private phone line for Dr. Watson. Text messages go directly into the patient's medical record. Dr. Watson monitors that line seven days a week and responds based on patient needs. You never have to leave a message with a receptionist or wait for a callback from a nurse.

New patient well-checks run 90 to 120 minutes. Existing patient well-checks run 60 to 90 minutes. Sick visits run 30 to 60 minutes. Breakthrough Direct Care holds no one-issue-per-visit policy, and multiple children in the same family can be seen at one appointment.

Yes. Breakthrough Direct Care offers same-day and next-day appointments for sick visits. You can reach Dr. Watson directly by text or phone through the dedicated patient line. The practice does not operate on a typical appointment-request queue, so access is fast when your child needs it.

Yes. Dr. Watson makes optional at-home wellness visits for newborns during the first two months of life. She also offers home visits for other patients for a modest additional charge. Home visits are one of the most frequently mentioned benefits in patient reviews.

Yes. Telehealth visits are included in the monthly membership at no additional charge. Members can connect with Dr. Watson remotely for sick visits, follow-ups, and general questions. Telehealth messages and visits feed directly into the patient's medical record.

Yes. Breakthrough Direct Care offers the ADOS-2 evaluation, considered the gold standard assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Watson holds training in ADOS-2 diagnostic testing and delivers diagnoses herself. The evaluation includes a full clinical writeup and classification. Current pricing is $1,200. The practice does not bill insurance for this service.

New families start with an in-office meet and greet before enrolling. You can schedule that meeting through the contact page on the practice website or by calling or texting the office directly. Enrollment opens after that initial visit. The practice responds to new inquiries within a few hours.
