At Arete Family Care, LLC, four physicians deliver full-spectrum family medicine from their independently owned Anchorage clinic. The practice serves patients of all ages across Alaska, combining traditional insurance-based care with an optional Direct Primary Care membership. A team of over 35 employees supports clinical, laboratory, occupational health, billing, and administrative needs. The clinical scope at Arete is broad and continues to grow. The practice has expanded in recent years to add an occupational health program, drug and alcohol testing, on-site ultrasound, and sleep testing. On-site EKG, lab, and X-ray give physicians diagnostic tools without sending patients elsewhere. Several of the physicians hold training in dermoscopy. Through a partnership with Mariner Clinic, Arete also serves maritime workers with Coast Guard physicals, fit-for-duty evaluations, and occupational telemedicine.
