Alma Direct Pediatric Care

Membership at Alma Direct Pediatric Care starts at $100 per month per child. Families with multiple children pay a maximum of $300 per month regardless of how many children enroll. A one-time enrollment fee of $50 per family applies. Members who choose a 12-month annual plan receive a 10% discount.

The membership covers unlimited well-child visits, sick visits, and chronic condition follow-ups with no copays or surprise bills. Members also receive newborn home visits during the first three months, same-day or next-day appointments, and direct access to Dr. Wensman by secure text, phone, email, or video chat.

Alma Direct Pediatric Care does not bill insurance for membership or visits. However, Dr. Wensman does use your insurance when ordering vaccines, labs, and imaging. The practice recommends that all patients maintain health insurance to cover hospitalizations, catastrophic events, and other major health needs.

Members schedule appointments online anytime through the self-scheduling portal. Same-day and next-day visits are available. Many concerns do not require an office visit at all. Members can send Dr. Wensman a message, photo, or video directly to get quick guidance.

Yes. Dr. Wensman is available by text and phone during evenings and weekends and responds as quickly as possible. Weekend appointments are available on an as-needed basis. This availability means most families can avoid urgent care for after-hours pediatric concerns.

Yes. Dr. Wensman connects with families through secure video chat in addition to phone and text. Many concerns resolve through a quick message or video call without requiring an in-office appointment.

Alma Direct Pediatric Care serves children from birth through age 18. This includes newborns, infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents. Dr. Wensman provides home visits for newborns during the first three months of life.

Yes. Alma Direct Pediatric Care does not require long-term contracts. Families may cancel at any time with no questions asked. If a past member re-enrolls after canceling, a re-enrollment fee applies: $200 for the first re-enrollment and $500 for the second.

Yes. Non-members may schedule a one-time visit for $200. Ear piercing is also available for $100 for non-members and $75 for members.

Dr. Wensman handles a range of in-office procedures including minor laceration repair, wart removal, abscess drainage, and ear piercing. She also provides immunizations, developmental and behavioral assessments, school and sports physicals, and growth and nutrition counseling.
