AllCare Medical

AllCare Medical charges an annual fee for services not covered by insurance or Medicare. The practice still bills your insurance for office visits and collects any required co-pays at the time of your visit. The annual fee covers a defined set of member benefits separate from standard visit charges. You should maintain your existing PPO, Medicare, or other insurance coverage alongside your AllCare membership.

Some members use Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account funds toward the annual fee. AllCare cannot advise you on tax or reimbursement eligibility. Check with your HR representative, FSA or HSA plan manager, or a tax advisor to confirm whether your plan allows it.

ProCare is AllCare's monthly review of each member's health status. Each month, your physician considers whether new research findings or updated medical guidelines apply to your individual situation. If something relevant emerges, your doctor brings it to your attention. This keeps your care current between office visits.

Yes. AllCare physicians take patient calls personally or reply as quickly as possible. You reach the physician who knows your history, not a covering doctor or answering service. This applies whether you are in Boston or traveling.

Yes. Through Care at a Distance, AllCare works with you directly or coordinates with your local physician wherever you are. The practice has deep experience with national and international telemedicine and maintains global connections with leading local physicians worldwide. Your AllCare physician remains your single point of coordination for longitudinal medical management.

AllCare physicians hold staff positions and core faculty roles at Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Members have direct access to consultants and facilities at all three institutions. This gives AllCare patients a direct connection to some of Boston's most respected academic medical centers.

AllCare covers primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, and preventive medicine. The practice also addresses cardiovascular disease management, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardio-metabolic disease, hypertension, lipid management, heart failure, diabetes management, genetics and genomic medicine, and end-of-life counseling. Medical transport service coordination and personalized hospital care are also available.

AllCare keeps its panel well below the levels most concierge practices maintain. While many concierge physicians manage 300 to 600 patients, AllCare operates at a fraction of that. The small panel means no patient falls off the radar and physicians actively think about members between visits.
