Align Direct Primary Care

Align Direct Primary Care bases monthly membership fees on age. Members under 40 pay $150 per month. Members between 40 and 64 pay $200 per month. Members 65 and older pay $250 per month. If a membership payment lapses for more than 60 days, a $500 re-enrollment fee applies to rejoin.

The membership covers unlimited office visits, same or next-day acute appointments, annual and sports physicals, chronic disease management, weight management, hormone replacement therapy, sports medicine, EKGs, blood draws, and coordination of specialty care. Members also reach Dr. Barragan by phone, text, email, or video for issues that don't require an office visit.

Insurance does not cover DPC membership fees. However, insurance may cover imaging studies or lab tests that Dr. Barragan orders. Each member should check with their own insurer to understand what applies to their plan. The practice also accepts HSA and FSA funds for membership fees.

Align Direct Primary Care caps its patient panel at roughly 10% of a traditional practice volume. That keeps the schedule open for same or next-day appointments. For established patients, many medical questions resolve over phone, text, or email without a visit at all.

Yes. Dr. Barragan manages care remotely through phone, text, email, and video. Members can contact him this way whether they are at home or traveling elsewhere in the country.

Dr. Barragan considers house calls on a case-by-case basis. They are not a routine service, and certain circumstances may require an additional fee. Members can inquire directly about their situation.

Yes. Align Direct Primary Care accepts Medicare patients. The practice does not bill Medicare for membership fees, but Dr. Barragan can still order labs, imaging, and specialist referrals. Patients with Medicare HMO or PPO replacement plans should verify whether their plan requires an in-network primary care physician.

Yes. Dr. Barragan performs Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment as a separate service. Members pay $80 per session. OMT addresses a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, musculoskeletal problems, asthma, IBS, migraines, and sports injuries.
