Membership starts at $45 per month for one person, plus $35 per month for each additional person. A one-time enrollment fee of $50 per person or $100 per family applies at sign-up and is nonrefundable. Adwuma offers discounts for members who pay every three, six, or twelve months in advance.

Members receive direct access to Dr. Argento-Berrio via phone, text, and email, including after-hours availability. Membership covers wholesale pricing on labs and medications, unlimited communication for questions and refill requests, and the ability to book 60-minute appointments. Visit fees apply separately for each appointment.

Adwuma charges $25 for telehealth visits, $50 for office visits, and $75 for home visits within Dane County. The practice will never turn down a member for a visit. If your budget is short, the practice offers barter arrangements or the option to add the visit cost to a future invoice.

No. Adwuma operates on a direct-pay model and does not accept or bill insurance. The practice recommends that members maintain a separate insurance plan to cover hospitalizations, surgeries, and high-cost diagnostics. The membership itself does not satisfy insurance requirements under the Affordable Care Act.

Yes, members with Medicare can receive care at Adwuma. The membership fee is not covered by Medicare, and members sign a one-time waiver stating that neither party will bill Medicare for services received at the practice. Medicare benefits remain active for all care received outside of Adwuma.

Yes. Adwuma serves patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults. Dr. Argento-Berrio provides well child and teen exams, sports physicals, and ongoing pediatric care. Note that the practice does not provide vaccinations at this time.

Yes. Adwuma offers telehealth visits for patients in Wisconsin and Illinois. Home visits are available for members within Dane County at a fee of $75. Patients can also book telehealth visits at $25 per session.

Adwuma partners with SRG Health Labs, a Black-owned independent lab co-located with the practice. That partnership brings wholesale lab pricing to members, with most blood tests running $5 to $15. The practice also negotiates wholesale pricing on medications and passes those savings directly to patients.

Yes. Members can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice via text, email, or mail. Adwuma charges no cancellation fee. If you paid in advance for three, six, or twelve months, the practice refunds the unused portion. Re-enrollment after cancellation requires a $150 re-enrollment fee and depends on panel availability.

No. Adwuma offers one-time consultations for non-members covering perimenopause, ADHD evaluation, weight loss, and second opinions. Non-member visit fees are $125 for telehealth, $150 for office visits, and $200 for home visits within Dane County. If you decide to join the practice after a consult, Adwuma waives the $50 enrollment fee.
