At Access Healthcare, three physicians deliver concierge primary care across two Charleston-area locations. Dr. Dave Albenberg founded the practice in March 2003, building what the practice describes as South Carolina's first free-market, direct primary care office. Today the practice serves more than 1,000 members from a downtown Charleston location on Calhoun Street and a second office on Bohicket Road on Johns Island.
Dr. Dave Albenberg leads with a focus on executive health and preventive medicine. Dr. Marcus Salo brings primary care experience from both hospital-based practice and urgent care. Dr. Hannah Burson holds board certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, covering patients from childhood through older adulthood. The practice runs urgent care seven days a week, a medical aesthetics program under the Access Aesthetics name, and an Access Executive tier that begins with a full-day Executive Physical at the Princeton Longevity Center. Advanced diagnostics include coronary calcium scoring, carotid artery imaging, biological age testing, and microbiome testing. Hormone replacement therapy, shockwave therapy, and a full menu of aesthetic treatments round out the clinical offerings.

Silver Membership: $150/month - includes all primary care office visits (routine, urgent, annual physical), same-day appointments, most in-office diagnostic tests and procedures, routine injectables, annual flu vaccine, email & phone consultations, coordination of specialty care. Platinum Membership: $225/month. Executive Membership also available. Practice does not file insurance; patients file themselves. Standard urgent care visit $135; flu test $35; antibiotics $5-$25; additional $100 fee for evening/weekend/holiday visits; additional $150 for after-hours visits.
