Dr. William JohnsonMD

Primary Care

at Coastal Health Concierge — St Simons, GA

About

Dr. William (Kelly) Johnson founded Coastal Health Concierge to bring genuinely personal medicine to the Golden Isles. Born in California and raised in Colorado and Arizona, he settled in Georgia in 2010 after falling for the state's coastal landscape. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2000 and his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004. He then completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville in 2007.

Dr. Johnson has practiced across Southeast Georgia, including at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, St. Josephs and Candler Hospital in Savannah, and in Waycross during its affiliation with the Mayo Clinic. His emergency medicine roots give him a sharp clinical instinct and a calm hand with urgent situations. He channels that background into a practice focused on primary care, functional medicine, and preventive health. Outside of medicine, he spends his time with family, fishing, playing sports in the yard, and finding beaches where his kids can surf.
