Teresa Lovins, MD, FAAFP is a board-certified family physician and a lifelong Columbus, Indiana resident. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Francis Hospital System. After more than 25 years in medicine, she founded Lovin My Health DPC to practice on her own terms. She wanted to spend genuine time with patients instead of cycling through 30 to 40 visits a day.
Dr. Lovins holds Fellowship in the American Academy of Family Physicians. She served as President of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians in 2008-2009 and again in 2018-2019. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of the AAFP and serves as Trustee for the 4th district of the Indiana State Medical Association. Her clinical focus covers chronic disease, women's health, pediatrics, mental health, and medical weight loss. Outside the office, she enjoys life with her family and her dogs.
