Dr. Steven FugaroMD

S. with Honors from Stanford University before completing his medical degree at Yale University. Yale awarded him membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the honor medical society. He trained through internship and residency at UCSF-Moffitt Hospitals, then served as Chief Resident at UCSF-Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Before establishing his private practice in 1993, Dr. Fugaro held three administrative roles at UCSF-Moffitt Hospitals: Medical Director of the Executive Registry, Director of the Medical Consultation Service, and Assistant Director of the Hospitalist Service. Woodward & White has named him one of the "Best Doctors in America" repeatedly since 1997. " He served as President of the San Francisco Marin Medical Society in 2008 and chairs the Board of the San Francisco Health Plan, which oversees all MediCal activity in San Francisco.
