About
Sarah Donahue, MD grew up in Western North Carolina with deep family roots in the region, graduating from The Asheville School in 2000. She earned an English Speaking Union scholarship to study in Scotland, then completed her MBChB degree at The University of Glasgow. She is the third generation of women in her family to graduate from Glasgow. After two mandatory years of residency with NHS Scotland, she returned to the United States and finished her Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Virginia in 2011.
Dr. Donahue spent 12 years in Bozeman, Montana as both a hospitalist and outpatient clinician. She served as a clinical instructor and clerkship director for Inpatient Medicine in the WWAMI program, a multistate Pacific Northwest medical school. She also worked in wound and hyperbaric medicine and spent her final six Montana years as medical director of a medical spa. Those experiences deepened her passion for preventive care, wellness, and healthy aging. She holds board certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and full physician registration with the British GMC. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, cooking, and the outdoors with her husband Morgan, daughter Agnes, and bird dog Ghillie.
