About
Dr. Saimun Singla is a triple board-certified physician in general pediatrics, pediatric rheumatology, and integrative medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, then graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, the national osteopathic honor society. She completed a three-year General Pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago, followed by a three-year Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. She later completed a two-year Integrative Medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She also pursued additional training in Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome and chronic pain at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Before founding Rheum to Grow TX, Dr. Singla served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Rheumatology at Texas Children's Hospital, where she earned the Provider Excellence Award for ranking above the 99th percentile in family-centered care and communication. During her tenure there, she received her own diagnosis of severe rheumatoid arthritis. She tried nine medications in pursuit of remission before turning to integrative approaches. That personal experience deepened her clinical focus on anti-inflammatory nutrition, the gut-joint axis, sleep and micronutrients, and lifestyle medicine for autoimmune disease. She delivered a TEDx talk on finding acceptance of her own autoimmune diagnosis and has appeared in The Rheumatologist publication. She holds multiple Top Doc Awards, including recognition as a Houstonia Top Doctor. Outside the clinic, she is a wife and mother of three active school-aged children, and her husband practices Emergency Medicine.

Who is Dr. Singla right for?
Dr. Singla is an excellent fit for children, adolescents, and adults between ages 23 and 55 managing autoimmune or rheumatic disease. Patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or chronic pain benefit most from her dual expertise. She works well with families seeking a structured, whole-body plan rather than medication management alone. Patients who have tried multiple treatments without reaching remission often find her integrative roadmap fills the gaps prior care left open. She also serves patients who need second or third opinions on a pediatric rheumatology diagnosis.
