About

Ryan Heer, ND grew up in Indianapolis with both parents working in the traditional healthcare system. That early exposure to the gaps in chronic disease care set him on a different path. He spent several years working in hospitals across Indianapolis and Chicago before pursuing naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Heer earned his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. After graduation, he completed a highly competitive post-graduate clinical residency in integrative primary care and preventive cardiology. He practiced naturopathic medicine in Oregon before returning to Indianapolis in 2021 to open Crossroads Integrative Medicine. His clinical expertise spans gastrointestinal health, preventative cardiology, autoimmune disease, and endocrine and metabolic disorders. He holds founding membership in CardioANP, a naturopathic cardiology subspecialty, and leads specialty care development for naturopathic doctors. Outside the clinic, Dr. Heer gardens, plays soccer, and trains for triathlons. He and his wife Sarah enjoy hiking with their dog Remi and exploring Indianapolis's culinary scene.
