About

Paul Williams, MD, grew up watching his father practice family medicine in Centralia for over 30 years. He spent eight formative years in Taiwan and India observing that work firsthand, and those experiences drew him toward family practice. He completed his undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University, earned his MD at Albany Medical College, and trained at USAF David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California, where he served as Chief Resident in Family Practice.

Dr. Williams served as a Family Practice Residency Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska from 1996 to 1999 before returning to Centralia. He held numerous leadership roles at Providence Centralia Hospital, including Chief of Medical Staff, Chair of the Family Practice Department, and Chair of Quality Management. He founded Washington Park Direct Care in 2014 to make primary care more affordable and accessible. Today he also teaches at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He holds board certification from the American Board of Family Practice and has seven children.
