Nader Rahmanian, MD has built his career around one idea: a single physician who knows you well delivers better care. A. in Computer Information Science before earning his medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ, then his residency at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Rahmanian holds board certification in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine, first certified in 1991 and 1994 respectively, with active Maintenance of Certification enrollment for both specialties. The American Medical Directors Association also certified him as a Medical Director of Long Term Care in 1996. He was among the first board-certified geriatricians in Berks County when he opened his solo practice in 1990. For years he served as Chief Medical Consultant at the Spruce Pavilion Geriatric Inpatient Unit at Reading Hospital, and consistently ranked in the top 5 to 10 percent of his Reading Hospital peers in inpatient care quality and outcomes. He currently serves as Chair of both the Credentialing and Finance Committees for the PA Clinical Network and participates on the Geriatric Medicine Item Writing Task Force for the American Board of Internal Medicine.
