Dr. Milt McColl's path to medicine is singular. He graduated from Stanford University in 1981 and Stanford Medical School in 1987, earning both degrees while playing professional football with the San Francisco 49ers and the LA Raiders, a career that brought him two Super Bowl championship rings. He completed his internship at Valley Medical Center in San Jose in 1989.
For the next 25 years, Dr. McColl worked in the medical device industry, rising from Medical Director to President, CEO, and venture capital investor while founding multiple Bay Area medical device companies.
