Dr. Messalina JordanDO

Family Medicine

at Boaz & Albertville Family Care

About

Dr. Messalina Jordan brings an uncommon depth of experience to family medicine in rural Alabama. Before attending medical school, she worked as a nurse for 23 years. That clinical foundation shaped her instincts as a physician and deepened her commitment to hands-on, relationship-centered care.

She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, Georgia. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program in Huntsville, Alabama, where she also completed a Surgical Obstetrics fellowship. She holds board certification in Family Medicine and membership in both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Alabama Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Jordan sees her calling as bringing quality healthcare to people living in rural communities, a mission she pursued first in Kansas and now continues in the South. She treats diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, prenatal care, and acute and chronic conditions. Outside of medicine, she enjoys time with her husband, four children, two step-sons, three daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren. She attends the First Baptist Church of Boaz and participates actively in the Boaz Rotary and local Chamber of Commerce.
