She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, Georgia. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program in Huntsville, Alabama, where she also completed a Surgical Obstetrics fellowship.
