About

Dr. Meghan Monthie is a board-certified family physician with over seven years of experience in family medicine. A. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Siena College in 2012, where she captained the NCAA Division I Cross Country Team for three consecutive years. D. and her Family Medicine residency at Albany Medical College, earning the Family Medicine Leads Scholarship and the Elizabeth F. Hessner Prize in Nutrition along the way. During residency, she served as Wellness Chief Resident and received the Outstanding Medical Student Teaching Award in 2021.

Before founding Heirloom, Dr. Monthie worked as an Attending Family Physician at Saratoga Hospital Medical Group in Scotia-Glenville and Ballston Lake from 2021 to 2025. She is passionate about women's health, perimenopause and menopause management, preventive care, and mental health including anxiety, depression, and seasonal affective disorder. Her clinical approach centers on evidence-based medicine, root cause analysis, and lifestyle changes first. Outside medicine, she is a former Ironman triathlete who raised over $8,500 for the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York. She is also the proud daughter and granddaughter of South Korean immigrants, a skier, a self-described Swiftie, and a mother of two boys, Miles and Henry.
