Dr. Mario Seyer grew up in Quebec, Canada, and later earned his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University. He graduated from AT Still University of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and completed his Family Medicine residency at the Southern Illinois University-Quincy Family Medicine Program. His specialties span Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Seyer spent 17 years practicing Family Medicine in northern Oregon, serving patients from childhood through end of life. For more than a decade, he served as team physician for the Oregon City High School Football team. His final four years before joining Coeur Vitality focused on post-acute care in Coeur d'Alene, where he worked with complex Internal Medicine and geriatric populations following hospitalizations, serving as both Acute Rehabilitation Medical Director and Hospice Medical Director.
