About

Dr. Margaret Zak holds board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her residency at the Wichita Falls Family Practice Residency Program, where she trained across the ICU, emergency room, high-risk OB, and neonatal care. Her training also included assisting with surgical and endoscopic procedures.

After residency, Dr. Zak opened an independent practice at Electra Memorial Hospital in Electra, Texas. She cared for a rural community that included aging patients with chronic diseases, young families, and oil field and ranch workers needing trauma care. In 2013, her family relocated to Grapevine, and she spent the next five years with Paladina Health at their Coppell clinic. There she encountered the DPC model and decided to build her own practice around it. Dr. Zak is passionate about chronic disease management and prevention across all age groups. A native of Poland, she immigrated to America with her parents and two younger siblings and settled in Chicago before matching to residency in Texas. Outside medicine, she performs traditional Polish folk dances at festivals throughout the state.
