About

Dr. Maisee Lor is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than seven years of clinical experience. S. in Biology, with a minor in microbiology, from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She also completed a secondary school teaching license during that time. She went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2015. Her residency training in family medicine took place at Henry Ford Health Providence Family Medicine Residency in Southfield, Michigan, where she completed her training in 2018.

Dr. Lor was born in Ban Vinai, a refugee camp in Thailand, after her parents fled Laos following the Vietnam War. Her family immigrated to Fresno, California in the early 1990s. The eldest of eight children, she graduated as valedictorian from East Central High School before pursuing medicine. After residency, she relocated to Minnesota to reunite with her family and spent several years practicing outpatient family medicine in central Minnesota. She founded My Healthy Family Direct Primary Care in 2026. Dr. Lor speaks both English and Hmong. Outside of medicine, she enjoys photography, cooking and baking, strength training, and making goat milk soap and lotion. She is married with six children.
