About

Dr. Loy Graham grew up in Texas and earned his undergraduate degree from Lamar University. He attended UT Health Science Center in San Antonio on a Navy scholarship, graduating in 1990. Right after graduation, he completed a pediatric internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He then served at Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas as a general medical officer, spending three of his four years of service as Senior Medical Officer. After his military service, Dr. Graham completed his Family Practice residency at Texas A&M/Scott and White in Temple, Texas.

Before founding Your Personal MD in 2015, Dr. Graham practiced family medicine at Scott and White clinic in Taylor and King's Daughters Clinic in Temple. He built Your Personal MD around one conviction: a physician who truly knows a patient can make far better care decisions with that patient. He manages a broad spectrum of conditions, from diabetes and heart disease to anxiety, migraines, and respiratory illness. He describes the relationships he has built with patients since 2015 as the most fulfilling work of his career.
