Dr. Kristen Roeder grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast near Galveston and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. During her undergraduate years, she conducted research at NASA Johnson Space Center in tissue development for the International Space Station. She then pursued medicine at Trinity College Dublin, one of Ireland's oldest universities, graduating with honors. Her residency training in Pediatric Medicine took place at Akron Children's Hospital in Ohio.
