Dr. Eleanor Womack grew up in a household where science was a daily conversation. Her father edited and published Scientific American for many years. Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling visited the family regularly and once helped her with chemistry homework. That upbringing pointed her toward Harvard College, where she graduated in 1982. She then earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1986.

Dr. Womack completed her internship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She finished her Internal Medicine residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in Long Beach, California. Fellowship training in Medical Oncology followed at City of Hope in Duarte, California, where she later joined the faculty in Palliative Medicine. In 1991, the birth of spontaneous triplets drew her away from academic medicine. She raised nine children before returning to practice. In 2011, she founded Westlake Medical Arts in Austin, Texas. She holds board certification in both Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Her clinical work spans hormone optimization, mitochondrial and DNA-based therapies, regenerative medicine, hyperbaric oxygen, and IV infusions.
