Dr. Katie Burden-Greer holds dual board certification in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree at East Central University before completing her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2011. Her residency in Family Medicine took place at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, where she trained across patient populations of all ages and backgrounds.
Dr. Burden-Greer brings experience from emergency departments, outpatient clinics, and inpatient settings. She served as Chief of Inpatient Medicine at Chickasaw Nation through the COVID-19 pandemic, managing patients on the acute care floor and in the ICU. In 2022 and 2023, she completed focused additional training in the management of obesity and overweight disease. She is passionate about helping patients reach sustainable weight goals and understands the real challenges that come with that work.
