About
Dr. Jesse Jenkins grew up in Reno, Nevada, the oldest of three children. A series of hospital visits with his late father introduced him to the world of medicine. Those conversations with doctors and staff left a lasting mark and set him on a path toward medical school. He enrolled at Ross University School of Medicine and graduated in 2013, which brought him to Louisville, Kentucky, where he has built his career.
Dr. Jenkins holds board certification in Family Medicine. He treats a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and sinus infections, as well as supporting patients through weight management and addiction recovery. He founded Mobile MD during the COVID-19 pandemic after recognizing that many of his elderly patients could not leave their homes. The DPC model gave him the freedom to practice without the time constraints of a traditional office. He now travels to patients' homes and workplaces throughout the Kentuckiana area. Dr. Jenkins speaks Spanish and currently resides in the East End of Louisville with his wife Mimi and their three children.
