Dr. Jay Allen grew up in Le Center, MN and completed his undergraduate education at Wheaton College in Illinois. He chose Duluth for medical school and knew early on that the city would become his permanent home. After finishing his Family Medicine residency in Sioux Falls, SD, he returned to Duluth with his family for good.

Dr. Allen holds board certification in Family Medicine and spent five years practicing traditional outpatient family medicine with obstetrics before launching Palisade DPC.
