About
Dr. Jason Wesley earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Good Samaritan Family Practice Residency in Phoenix, Arizona. He has held board certification in Family Medicine since 2001. After residency, he served as Medical Director of the Grand Canyon Clinic on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. That experience sparked a lasting love for the mountains and canyons of Northern Arizona.
Dr. Wesley moved to the Verde Valley in 2007 with his wife Angie, a Registered Nurse, and their son Leo. He spent nearly a decade working in emergency rooms at Sedona Medical Center and VVMC before transitioning to primary care with Northern Arizona Healthcare. In 2015, he co-created the Verde Valley Medical Clinic Occupational Medicine office and directed it, performing annual physicals for firefighters at departments including Sedona, Verde Valley, Cottonwood, Blue Ridge, and Pine-Strawberry. That work sharpened his focus on cardiovascular disease, cancer, respiratory disease, and stress in high-risk populations. He is EvexiPEL certified and delivers hormone therapy through oral, topical, and pellet options. He founded Helios Health AZ to put wellness and prevention at the center of everyday primary care.
