Dr. Jason Argiro is a board-certified internist and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with a minor in German, from the University of Delaware. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology in 2010. His residency in Internal Medicine at Southampton Hospital earned him the Intern of the Year distinction.

Dr. Argiro has worked as a hospitalist at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital since 2013. That role deepened his expertise in complex, acute, and multi-system conditions. In 2022, the hospital appointed him Assistant Director of Inpatient Medicine. He also served as a per diem hospitalist and detox physician at Eastern Long Island Hospital from 2022 to 2025. He serves as Core Faculty for the Stony Brook Southampton Residency Program and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook University's Renaissance School of Medicine.
