Dr. David Capone is a board-certified internist and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Adelphi University and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology in 2010. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Southampton Hospital, where his peers and faculty selected him as Co-Chief Resident.
Since 2013, Dr. Capone has worked as a hospitalist at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, managing complex cases and building a collaborative network of top specialists across the East End. Colleagues know him for sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and compassionate patient care. He serves as Core Faculty for the Stony Brook Southampton Residency Program and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook University's Renaissance School of Medicine.
