About

James F. O. earned his BA in Chemistry from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA in 1992. During his undergraduate years, he joined the Athletic Training program and passed the National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification, working with all Lycoming College sports including the 1990 National Finalist Division III Football team. He went on to earn his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, completed an AOA Rotating Internship at Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center, pursued additional training in General and Orthopedic Surgery, and finished his Family Medicine residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, a Temple University School of Medicine affiliate.

After residency, Dr. Frommer built his career across a wide range of settings. He served as a team physician for multiple local high schools, Moravian College, and the Philadelphia Force professional softball team. He was the first physician in the Greater Lehigh Valley to open a sports concussion-specific clinic. His career also included work in the Department of Corrections for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and a federally qualified health center in Bedford County. He holds board certification as a Diplomat of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and is Board Eligible in Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine.
