Dr. Frank Calisch earned his MD from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2012 and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital San Diego. He then spent 11 years as a Naval physician, serving at stations in San Diego, Pensacola, Quantico, Guam, and Millington, Tennessee. At Naval Hospital Guam, he chaired the Healthcare Ethics Committee from 2019 to 2022. He holds board certification in Internal Medicine.

Before medicine, Dr. Calisch studied History and Philosophy at the University of West Florida before completing a Biology degree there. He has worked as an educator for over 20 years, tutoring in college, teaching high school science at West Florida High School, and training medical students and residents.
