About
Dr. Cigal Shaham grew up in Los Angeles and earned her Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. She then completed a Master's in Regulatory Science at USC's School of Pharmacy before working in clinical research at Children's Hospital. She earned her M.D. from Ben-Gurion University Medical School for International Health in Collaboration with Columbia University Medical Center. The school honored her with the Dean's Award for Outstanding Contribution upon graduation.
She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Westchester Medical Center, and New York Medical College. During residency, she served as the American Academy of Pediatrics Delegate and received the Pediatric Residency Leadership Award in her third year. After training, she obtained privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before spending six years at Roxbury Pediatrics in Beverly Hills and six years at Miracle Mile Pediatrics in Los Angeles. She joined Robertson Pediatrics in July 2023. She holds board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She describes her love of medicine as the chance to be a scientist, teacher, and detective every day while helping children grow up healthy and happy.
