Dr. Amaka PriestMD

Nneamaka Ajalla Priest, MD is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics practicing in Los Angeles. She grew up on the East Coast and attended the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, a residential high school for academically gifted students. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a major in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences and a minor in French. She completed both her medical degree and her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma, training at OU Children's Hospital.

After residency, Dr. Priest joined Just Kids Pediatrics in Oklahoma City, covering primary care by day and urgent care by night. She later practiced in primary care and adolescent medicine clinics at Children's Hospital of Orange County, then moved to private practice at Larchmont Pediatrics in Los Angeles before founding Golden Hour Pediatrics in 2023. She holds hospital privileges at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and has earned the Super Doctor Southern California Rising Star designation each year from 2021 through 2025. Dr. Priest is passionate about adolescent medicine and actively supports initiatives that expand mental health access for children of all backgrounds and abilities. The daughter of Nigerian immigrants and the oldest of five children, she is an avid reader currently writing her first novel, a coming-of-age story for teens and young adults.
