Dr. Antonette Brigidi is a board-certified internal medicine physician who grew up outside Philadelphia in a multigenerational Italian American household. That upbringing shaped her belief in long-term therapeutic relationships with patients and families. She earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her internship and Primary Care Residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

After early practice at Chester County Hospital, Dr. Brigidi returned to Penn as faculty in 2010. In 2020, Penn recruited her to serve as Chief Medical Officer of Penn Signature Services, where she co-directed Executive Health, the Penn Passport program, and Penn Global Medicine. She later served as Lead Physician for Penn Executive Health at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. She holds board certification in Internal Medicine, a Diplomate designation from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, and Fellowship in the American College of Physicians. She co-directs the culinary medicine course at the Perelman School of Medicine and is passionate about gardening, cooking, and therapeutic lifestyle interventions.
