Dr. Amy Jane Nayo earned her medical degree from UNC School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at UNC Chapel Hill. Before medical school, she served in the Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa, focusing on HIV/AIDS public health work. That experience shaped her belief in the power of service and preventive care as the foundation of good medicine.

After residency, Dr. Nayo spent several years practicing broad-spectrum family medicine in a rural North Carolina community before joining Unorthodoc in 2020.
