Dr. Amanda Lingerfelt is a board-certified family medicine physician and a lifelong East Tennessean. She completed her undergraduate degree at East Tennessee State University before earning her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She then returned home to complete her Family Medicine residency at ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport, where she earned the role of Chief Resident in her final year.
Growing up in Unicoi County, Dr. Lingerfelt always knew she wanted to practice medicine close to home. She and her husband both have roots there, and they have raised two children in the community. Her clinical interests center on preventive medicine, women's health, and chronic disease management. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, cooking, and taking part in sporting events. Patients and colleagues alike describe her as kind, caring, and compassionate.
