Dr. Aaron WattersMD

Family Medicine

at Liberty MD — Emporia, KS

About

Dr. Aaron Watters grew up in Colby, a small Western Kansas town, where he decided early that medicine would be his calling. His mother served as a Director of Nursing, and he began working at the hospital himself at age 16. He became an EMT at 18 and worked in Respiratory Therapy to fund his college and medical school education. He completed a grueling but formative residency at a trauma center in Houston before training further in family medicine.

Dr. Watters practiced family medicine in Ark City, Kansas for nearly 20 years before founding Liberty MD. 4 employees per physician to more than eight, and he built Liberty MD to refocus care on patients rather than paperwork. He specializes in family medicine, preventive medicine, and sports medicine. His clinical interests include regenerative medicine, PRP therapy, peptide therapy, hormone optimization, and aesthetic treatments. He sees patients from birth through older adulthood and brings a team-of-equals philosophy to every visit. Outside the exam room, he remains passionate about building a different kind of medicine in Emporia.
