Telemedicine visits are also available. Members also receive a quarterly health newsletter.

Yes. Members can contact Dr. Thompson and Dr. Owen directly on their personal cell phones after hours for urgent medical issues. During business hours, live staff answer the practice phone directly at 615-751-4111, with no automated phone tree to navigate.

The membership fee operates separately from insurance. Thompson Family Healthcare does not accept insurance to cover the concierge membership cost. However, members may still use their insurance for outside services such as labs, specialist referrals, imaging, and prescription coverage.

Yes. Dependent children of members are welcome at a reduced membership fee. Dr. Thompson accepts dependent children from ages 0 through 26. Dr. Owen accepts dependent children from ages 18 through 26.

Yes. The practice offers telemedicine visits upon patient request. This gives members a convenient option for appropriate medical needs without requiring an in-office visit.

Dr. Thompson personally admits members to TriStar StoneCrest Hospital and oversees their care throughout the hospitalization. He serves as the doctor of record rather than handing care to a hospitalist team. This means patients have a physician who already knows their history managing their care at every stage.

Routine visits run approximately 30 minutes. Annual comprehensive health assessments run approximately 60 minutes. Appointments start promptly, and the practice keeps waiting room time minimal.
