About

At The Arete Center, psychiatry and psychology operate side by side under one roof. Dr. Dave Walick co-founded the practice in 2018 with a vision for integrated, concierge-level behavioral health care. The group's founding clinicians all held faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Since then, the practice has grown to seven clinicians spanning a wide range of specialties and clinical backgrounds.

The team serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across the greater Denver metro area. Two specialized programs anchor distinct areas of focus: The ADHD Clinic at The Arete Center and The Anxiety and OCD Clinic at The Arete Center. Clinicians use evidence-based approaches including CBT, ERP, ACT, SPACE, and Trauma-Focused CBT. The practice also hosts a postdoctoral training program, offering services with externs and postdoctoral candidates at a reduced rate. Appointments run 90 minutes and telehealth is available for eligible clients.
