Terrain Health does not accept insurance. The practice operates on a self-pay basis. Practice fees cover clinical services but do not include laboratory or diagnostic testing, prescriptions, peptides, supplements, IV therapy, or other integrative treatments. Lab costs range from several hundred to several thousand dollars depending on the panels ordered.

New patients start by booking a discovery call through the Terrain Health website. The initial consultation and lab assessment require an in-person visit. Terrain Health currently accepts only a limited number of new patients.

Yes. Terrain Health offers telemedicine visits for established patients. New patient onboarding, including the initial consultation and lab assessment, takes place in person at either the Connecticut or New York location.

No. Terrain Health does not function as a primary care provider. All patients must maintain an active relationship with a separate primary care physician while enrolled in a Terrain Health program.

Terrain Health focuses on complex and chronic conditions including Long COVID, chronic Lyme disease, Alzheimer's disease, autoimmune disease, gut health disorders, hormonal imbalances, metabolic dysfunction, thyroid conditions, and neurological health. The practice also addresses spike protein-related illness and supports patients pursuing longevity and disease prevention.

Terrain Health uses advanced blood testing, genomic testing, and biological age screening. The Thorne biological age test analyzes 41 biomarkers to assess overall biological age and five individual system or organ ages. These tools help build a precise and personalized clinical picture for each patient.

Most IV and treatment services require enrollment in a Terrain Health program. Patients referred by an outside physician with a written order may also access certain services. The practice does not offer these treatments as standalone walk-in options.
