He trained at UCLA and UCSF before completing his internal medicine residency at UC San Diego Medical Center. In 1990, he co-founded the Medical Group of North County, one of the largest private internal medicine practices in North County San Diego. He launched his solo concierge office in 2002 and has delivered personalized internal medicine care there ever since.
